If you like to dance skate or just prefer not to have toe stops you can always take out your toe stops and pop in a pair of jam plugs like these ones from Riedell Skates.

These 5/8" black rubber jam and rhythm plugs from Riedell can not only protect your plate from possible damage but also protect the floor.

These will fit skates with adjustable toe stops such as the Moxi Lolly or Beach Bunny.
